Overview

Emerging from the aftermath of a bloody civil war, Liberia remains dependent upon significant support from key international allies such as the United Kingdom. However, with this help, the Liberian government intends to transform the country from donor recipient to trade partner, creating jobs and prosperity not only for its own people but also for investors. In this meeting the President will set out her vision for the country, and how this fits into wider efforts to promote global prosperity and security.
