The Southern African Development Community's (SADC) efforts at integrating security, socio-economic and political cooperation amongst its member states has garnered it an international reputation as a key player within sub-Saharan Africa. In this meeting, SADC's Executive Secretary Tomás Salomão will outline how far the Southern African Development Community has come over the last three decades, where it currently stands and the future potential of the organisation.

A coffee reception will be held from 15:30 to 16:00.
