Mr Mulegwa is a former spokesperson of President Joseph Kabila, and former Director of Communications at the UK Embassy in Kinshasa (2008-2011). He resigned his position to stand in the upcoming elections scheduled for November 2011 for the National Assembly. In this small expert meeting Mr Mulegwa will offer his perspectives on the election process and exchange thoughts on the role the international community might usefully play.

This event will be held under the Chatham House Rule.
