Sir Mark Tully OBE, Former BBC Bureau Chief New Delhi and Presenter, Something Understood, BBC Radio 4
Chair: Dr Robin Niblett, Director, Chatham House

The speaker will explore the opportunities for India's ascent to global superpower status and the inevitable obstacles to achieving its full potential. He will argue that unless issues surrounding India's internal governance are addressed and the optimism surrounding its rise is challenged, India's road to superstar status will be far from guaranteed.
