In advance of Russia’s parliamentary elections on 4 December, this expert roundtable seminar will look at the significance of the Duma and the role of parties in Russia’s political system. The event will consider the function which the legislature fulfils within Russia’s political system and possible scenarios for its evolution. There will also be discussion of the extent and limitations of the Russian presidency.
