Following the devastating impact of the tsunami that hit Japan in March 2011, the speaker will discuss the current state of post-tsunami reconstruction, ongoing nuclear containment and clean-up operations. She will also analyse the wider political, economic and environmental challenges faced by Japan in the wake of this natural disaster.
