The Policy Implications of Chinese Views of the European Union
This seminar provides an opportunity to discuss the implications of Chinese views of Europe for EU policy. It will present the recent findings of a research project, conducted as part of the European Commission’s seventh framework research programme, which is based on a series of surveys of the general public and various elite groups, including government officials, scholars, media practitioners and civil society representatives in China.
The seminar follows on from a related project event on Disaggregating Chinese Perceptions of the EU held at Chatham House in February 2011.
Presentations for this event can be found at the Nottingham University China Policy Institute website.
