The Kosovo Human Rights Advisory Panel
Christine Chinkin, Professor of International Law, London School of Economics
Chair: Louise Arimatsu, Associate Fellow, International Law, Chatham House
The speaker will consider whether, and how, the UN is accountable for wrongful acts carried out by UN missions. She will discuss this in the context of her work as a panel member on the Kosovo Human Rights Advisory Panel, the only human rights mechanism that deals specifically with human rights violations allegedly committed by or attributable to a United Nations field mission.
