Overview

In the past decade, Russia's relations with the West have fluctuated between cooperation and confrontation.

A new BBC documentary series, Putin, Russia and the West, will chart the evolution of this relationship since Vladimir Putin first became President of Russia. This event will screen extracts from the series, covering the major landmarks in the relationship through exclusive interviews with the main players on both sides.

A panel of leading experts will discuss the significance of these events, the drivers of Russia's changing policy towards the West, and the outlook for relations beyond the next presidential elections in March 2012.

THIS EVENT IS FULLY BOOKED AND REGISTRATION HAS CLOSED.
