The Paradigm Shift Towards Green Growth: Korea’s Experiences
Green growth is often viewed as a new development paradigm that is able to square the circle between economic growth and environmental sustainability. Dr Han will argue that this is made possible by the use of innovative green technologies, appropriate pricing mechanisms and effective regulatory and investment frameworks. Using South Korea’s green growth strategy as a model, he will highlight the power of green growth in effectively addressing global challenges such as climate change and dwindling economic opportunities.
