With an economy beset by sanctions, concerns about domestic unrest, and ongoing turmoil in Syria threatening to undermine the regional status quo, the prospects for the increasingly divided Iranian regime are unclear. As tensions escalate over the perceived threat of Iran’s nuclear development programme, and uncertainty over Tehran’s intentions and capabilities grows, the speakers will evaluate the country’s domestic politics, the state of the economy and Tehran’s foreign policy.

This event will be followed by a reception at 19:00.
