At the launch of his new book, which analyses the regional security arrangements of the Southern African Development Community (SADC), Dr Laurie Nathan will discuss the evolution and viability of these arrangements and their effectiveness. He will consider security in the region in the context of individual member states, and their values and perspectives on sovereignty, with particular reference to the suspension of the SADC Tribunal.
