As the United States and Britain begin their withdrawal from Afghanistan, the speaker will provide a guide to the changing cast of characters in the region. He will offer his thoughts on the future of international terrorism, and the policies and strategies both within Pakistan and Afghanistan and among the Western allies. He will also discuss how the death of Osama bin Laden has affected the relationship between the US and Pakistan, and examine the choices facing Pakistan, Afghanistan and the West in their efforts to bring stability to a fractured region.
