With the global demand for oil expected to increase significantly in the coming twenty years, Dr Al-Shahristani will argue that Iraq is uniquely positioned to provide a considerable portion of that demand. He will discuss Iraq's strategy and energy export plans, including recent deals with international oil companies, and review its current initiatives to increase production capacity.
