Overview

Turkey’s influence in the Horn of Africa, and especially in Somalia, has grown. This expert roundtable will explore where the Horn of Africa fits into Turkish foreign policy objectives and identify how Turkish engagement fits with the interests of leaders in the Horn region. Focus will be placed on the nature of Turkey’s humanitarian assistance, business relations, educational provision and political engagement, and speakers will look critically at Turkey’s capacity to deliver as much as is promised.

Attendance at this event is by invitation only.
