Translating Early Warning into Early Action: Response within Affected Countries
This workshop is part of a project on Translating Early Warning into Early Action, which aims to analyse the way in which governments, donors and humanitarian agencies use and react to early warning information related to slow onset food crises. The workshop will focus on the constraints to early response within affected countries, and in particular the political factors that can affect humanitarian space and the decision to respond. Participants will explore what national governments, donor governments and humanitarian agencies can do individually and collectively to improve responsiveness to early warnings within crisis-prone countries.
Attendance at this event is by invitation only.
