Jason Mosley, Associate Fellow, Africa Programme, Chatham House
Discussant: Nuradin Dirie, Independent Analyst on the Horn of Africa

Summits held to discuss Somalia in both London and Istanbul this year signal the international community’s growing concern over Somalia’s political future. As the Transitional Federal Government draws closer to the end of its mandate, the Somali signatories of the 2011 roadmap and key international players remain committed to completing the transition as set out in the document.

Jason Mosley will discuss a new programme paper which critically assesses the current trajectory as set out in the Roadmap. The speakers will also consider alternative visions of Somalia’s political transition.
