Franco-British Defence Cooperation – Politics and Strategy

19 September 2012 - 10:30am to 6:30pm

Chatham House, London

Following several months of 'strategic pause' at the political level, the Franco-British defence relationship is likely to be both recommitted and recast. This roundtable, the first London-based event in the FRUK Defence Forum series, will assess the political dynamics in France and the UK and explore what scope there is to push forward the agenda. Discussions will aim to identify gaps and suggest new opportunities for the future of Franco-British cooperation through a study of their broader defence partnerships and case studies where further rapprochement could yet be made as part of the ongoing strategic reviews in France and the UK.

This event is part of the FRUK Defence Forum.

Attendance is by invitation only.
