15 September 2012 - 12:00am to 16 September 2012 - 12:00am

Istanbul, Turkey

This is the third Chatham House Istanbul Roundtable.

The Roundtable will address three principal issues:

  • Europe's economic fragility and its effect on Turkey's economy and relations with the EU
  • Recent revolutions in the Arab world: how is the political instability in Turkey's neighbourhood challenging its foreign policy?
  • The involvement of major powers in Central Asia and the Caucasus: what are Turkey's interests in the region, and how will Turkey manage the changing Russia-China-Central Asia axis?
Attendance at this event is by invitation only.
The event will be held under the Chatham House Rule.
