Harnessing the Power of Mass Participation
Jeremy Heimans will share his insights on the theory and practice of how grassroots movements are built. He will argue for the effectiveness of bottom-up participation to spur social change or to build a socially responsible business, citing examples where participatory platforms have been involved in organizing campaigns and funding creative projects. He will also draw links to the role of the internet and mass digital participation in fundraising and voter mobilization in the 2012 US presidential race.
There will be a reception after this event.
This is an Under 35s Forum event.
