Tensions are rising between China and ASEAN members over conflicting regional claims in the South China Sea. The speakers will discuss what is at stake in the dispute and shed light on the internal pressures and motivations for the key players involved. With several ASEAN countries rapidly developing their naval capabilities, the speakers will assess the risk of clashes escalating between China and ASEAN members and the prospects for a diplomatic solution to the dispute.
