While the euro crisis seems likely to push the countries that use the euro – and probably those committed to joining it – into a full fiscal union, it appears to be exerting a centrifugal force on the UK. In the wake of the UK government's parliamentary defeat over the EU budget, this event will explore trends in Euroscepticism in the UK, looking at patterns in public opinion, the perspective of other EU member states on the British debate and the views and interests of British business.

This event is supported by the European Commission Representation in the United Kingdom.

Attendance is by invitation only.
