Oil in Uganda: International Lessons for Success
Uganda is amongst the latest of a growing list of countries to discover significant oil resources, a discovery that has inevitably generated optimism, but also concern about the likely impact on Uganda's political and economic prospects of such a discovery. This event will launch a new Chatham House Report, Oil in Uganda: International Lessons for Success, which lays out some of the options available to Uganda to maximize the potential resources available, drawing on a number of useful case studies such as Ghana and Trinidad and Tobago.
The report will first be launched in Kampala on 5 February 2013.
Attendance is by invitation only.
