As Britain debates the relative merits of its EU membership, this discussion will address how a change in the terms of Britain's relationship with the EU, or a possible exit by Britain, would be viewed beyond Europe.

The panel - featuring perspectives from the US, China, India and Turkey - will evaluate what role Britain's EU membership plays in shaping the UK’s international role. They will consider the implications for bilateral relations with other states, as well as the broader effects on trade, political ties, security and defence.

This event will be followed by a reception at 19:00.
