The authors of the Chatham House Report The ICC Intervention in Kenya will consider the implications of the election of President Uhuru Kenyatta and Vice President William Ruto in Kenya.

They will examine how the election impacts the International Criminal Court and its pursuit of charges against Kenyatta and Ruto relating to post-election violence in 2007-08, as well as what the election means for Kenya’s internal peace and security and relations with international partners.

To enable as open a debate as possible, this event will be held under the Chatham House Rule.

This event is only open to Major Corporate Member and Partner organizations of Chatham House.
