The speaker will discuss how the new leaders in China are linked to each other, their institutional path to power, and the debts they have acquired in order to be where they are today. He will focus on the individuals in the politburo and their family, business, political and informal networks.
Finally the speaker will examine the evolution of the relationships between these networks, the history of the party, the immense wealth creation in modern China and the provincial makeup of the country.
