Putinism Without Putin
Donald Jensen, Resident Fellow, Center for Transatlantic Relations, Johns Hopkins University
Since Russia's presidential elections in March 2012, the debate about the future of the Putin regime has intensified. The extent of Vladimir Putin's control over the political system, the system's ability to survive without Putin's leadership and the regime's vulnerability to economic challenges have all come under scrutiny. The speaker will discuss this and offer his perspective on the near- to medium-term future of the regime in Russia.
Attendance is by invitation only.
