Dr Mamphela Ramphele, Political Activist; Founder, Agang South Africa Party; Managing Director, World Bank (2000-04)
Chair: Tony Dykes, Director, ACTSA (Action for Southern Africa)

South Africans go to the polls in 2014, 20 years after the African National Congress (ANC) took power in the country's first democratic elections. Dr Ramphele, a seasoned anti-apartheid activist, will discuss what she considers to be the ANC's governance failures, the role of fear as a determinant in South African politics and how the Agang South Africa (Build South Africa) party will challenge the ANC at the election.
