Hong Kong’s Road to Democracy: Political and Financial Implications
As calls for universal suffrage strengthen in the run up to the 2017 Chief Executive elections, the speaker will share his insights into the social and political challenges facing Hong Kong. He will consider the effect these may have on the investment and business environment and Hong Kong's role as an international financial centre.
He will also discuss the influence of China's central government on Hong Kong’s political choices and how political changes may affect their relationship.
