Brazil's Economic Outlook

The governor of Brazil's central bank will comment on his government’s moves to strengthen economic growth in the context of a complex external economic environment.
He will discuss the central bank's action to curb inflation, as well as the planned supply-side reforms targeted at improving productivity and competitiveness in order to encourage investment and help rebalance Brazil’s economy. He will also comment on the country’s large-scale concession programmes, which aim to expand and overhaul Brazil’s infrastructure.
Attendance is strictly by invitation only. To enable as open a debate as possible, this event will be held under the Chatham House Rule.
Registrations and refreshments will be from 10:30. The main meeting will be from 11:00-12:00.
