HE Enrique Peña Nieto, President of Mexico
Chair: Dr Robin Niblett, Director, Chatham House

Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto will discuss the series and scope of structural reforms that he has implemented since he took office in December 2012 - notably in labour, public education and the telecom sector.

Taking into account the democratic governance platform provided by the multi-party Pact for Mexico, he will outline how these reforms will help deliver on his government's pledge to transform the country into an economic powerhouse, fully engage with international issues, and provide better living conditions and a promising future for its population.
