This event will consider the medium term prospects for internet governance. The speakers will analyse the current debate and explore key questions including: What are the implications of the current state of the debate on the future of the multi-stakeholder model, and what role could or should the United Nations play in internet governance?

Participants will explore the prospects for creating international norms of behaviour, and will discuss and develop some possible scenario outcomes that could emerge between now and 2020.

The event will be held under the Chatham House Rule.
