China: New Leaders, New Approach?
Dr Tim Summers will build on the findings of his recent briefing paper, China's New Leadership: Approaches to International Affairs, and discuss the implications of the recent leadership transition in China. He will share his insights into the personalities and priorities of China's new leaders, exploring the potential changes in Beijing's approach to international affairs and the government's domestic economic and social policy priorities.
To enable as open a debate as possible this event will be held under the Chatham House Rule.
