Overview

The Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius in November has been presented as a 'now or never' moment for Ukraine's Association Agreement with the EU. But the EU will have to decide before the summit if Ukraine has satisfied the conditions for signing the agreement. Pundits differ on what a positive or negative decision would mean for the EU's leverage in Ukraine and Ukraine's incentive to reform.

Viacheslav Yatsiuk and James Sherr will debate arguments for and against signing the Association Agreement. They will offer initial remarks for 10-15 minutes each, followed by an hour for questions and discussion.

Attendance is by invitation only.
