Overview

The speaker will discuss Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's leadership of Japan since coming to power. He will outline the administration's most recent policies and its vision for Japan’s future. He will draw upon lessons from history to demonstrate how Japan can increase its global role and fulfill the prime minister's goal of making Japan a 'proactive contributor to peace'.
