Professor Christian Lequesne, Professor of European Politics, Sciences Po; Director, CERI
Bruno Le Maire, Advisor to Dominique de Villepin (2002-07)

Following his predecessor Nicolas Sarkozy's championing of intervention in Libya, in his first 18 months French President François Hollande has already launched a high-risk operation in Mali and expressed a readiness to strike Syria without a UN mandate. The panel will discuss this new trend of interventionism in France's foreign policy, focusing on its key relations and role in the EU and beyond.
