Overview

Jeremy Scahill will share his experiences and insights from investigating US covert counterterrorism operations for the documentary Dirty Wars in locations such as Afghanistan, Yemen and Somalia. Ben Emmerson will discuss the UN inquiry into US drone strikes, and together they will examine the legality of America’s targeted killings policy and the global scope of the continuing 'war on terror'.

This discussion coincides with the UK release of Dirty Wars and will include clips from the film.
