Infrastructure Challenges to the North American Petroleum Renaissance
The speakers will discuss the Energy Policy Research Foundation's (EPRINC) recently released assessment of the infrastructure challenges in delivering surging North American crude oil production to coastal refining centres. The presentation will include EPRINC's forecast on the potential growth in North American liquids production, the role of railroads and pipelines in sustaining the rising production levels, changing views on energy security, policy and political obstacles to sustaining the growth in North American crude oil production and implications for global flows.
