Chair: Celia Szusterman, Director, Latin America Programme, The Institute for Statecraft

Overview

Dr Walter Molano argues that the economic decline that Argentina experienced during the latter half of the 20th century was due to the country’s unique geography and the concentration of power in Buenos Aires. He suggests that the key to Argentina’s future development will be a process of decentralization that will allow the country to fully optimize the resources at its disposal.

This event is held in association with the Institute of Latin American Studies.
