Contemporary Legal Questions on Naval Mines
Event documents
Overview
The law governing the use of naval mines in times of both peace and war remains ambiguous. In cooperation with the US Naval War College and Royal Navy, this workshop, involving experts from North America, Europe and Australia, will examine some of the most pressing legal questions that face the international community. A series of publications aimed at clarifying the law on naval mines will be produced to assist in informing states as to the scope and content of existing law.
This event is held with the support of the British Academy.
Attendance at this event is by invitation only.
