Lagos State: Priorities for Sustaining Progress

4 November 2013 - 10:00 to 11:00

Committee Room 5, House of Commons

HE Babatunde Fashola, Governor of Lagos State, Nigeria
Chair: Meg Hillier MP, Chair, All-Party Parliamentary Group on Nigeria

Lagos State, Nigeria’s wealthiest state with its most populous city, is growing fast, both in population and economically. But Lagos is also Nigeria’s smallest state in terms of land area. Every day, thousands of people from across the country and region migrate to the state capital, Lagos, in search of commercial opportunities.

HE Babatunde Raji Fashola, state governor since 2007, will discuss his priorities for sustaining growth and development in Lagos State, and how he responds to key challenges in a changing national context.

Attendance at this event is by invitation only.
