Overview

This meeting will draw on outcomes of the G8++ Friends of the Gulf of Guinea summit and the Chatham House Africa Programme conference Responding to Maritime Crime and Development Challenges in the Gulf of Guinea, which took place in Abuja in November. Presentations and discussion will focus on commercial priorities, challenges to policy implementation and how international support to the Gulf of Guinea can most effectively be targeted. 

The meeting will be held under the Chatham House Rule.
