With the recent discovery of large gas deposits around Cyprus, Israel, Lebanon and Gaza, Ioannis Kasoulides will discuss how Cyprus’ realigned foreign policy can affect regional dynamics in the Eastern Mediterranean. The speaker will discuss Cyprus’ aspiration to use energy and trade to build bridges between states in the region, as well as reflect on the broader implications for the diversification of Europe’s energy sources.
