Overview

With Australia holding the G20 presidency as of December 2013, this roundtable will offer the opportunity to explore where the G20 is heading in 2014. Australia’s key aim during its presidency is making concrete decisions to stimulate global growth and build resilience against future shocks. Dr Heather Smith, Australia’s G20 Sherpa (the prime minister's special representative), will discuss the Asia‑Pacific region, the future of the G20, and working together with the UK and the other G20 countries in implementing the agenda.
