Overview

Modern military technologies have increasingly autonomous capabilities but the value and merits of utilizing such technologies remain unclear. Do such systems constitute direct human replacements or do they complement and increase human capabilities in society as well as on the battlefield? The panel will explore the ethical and legal issues relating to the use of autonomous military technologies.
