Jeremy Paxman will discuss Britain’s role in the First World War and the day-to-day experience of those involved, from politicians and generals to factory workers and soldiers on the front lines. He will consider what shaped the mood and morale of the country from 1914-18 and explain how life and identity in Britain were changed as a result of the war.
