Overview

What will be the direction of EU foreign policy as the bloc emerges from economic crisis?  The speakers will consider the long-term effects of Europe’s economic downturn on the perceptions and influence of the EU, and consider how changes brought about by internal political reform might affect the EU’s role internationally.  In particular, they will discuss the EU’s relationships with major emerging powers and its partnership with the United States.
