Overview

This roundtable event will look at Argentina’s recent economic performance and how the country can attract further investments, both domestic and foreign, through a more effective business environment and a more developed banking sector. The event will explore whether a shift in economic policy in Argentina is likely to take place and whether such a shift would help the country to better exploit its huge potential in the agro-food industry and its endowment of high-level human capital.

This meeting is the first in series of events held by the International Economics department as part of the new project 'Latin America: the 'Next Big Thing' within the Global Economy?'.
