Overview

The Georgian Dream government has repeatedly declared its intention to press on with Georgia's Euro-Atlantic integration. Georgia's ambitions for closer ties with the EU and NATO, as well as the country's need to maintain balanced relations with its neighbours are among the factors influencing Tbilisi's foreign policy. Deputy Foreign Minister Davit Zalkaliani will outline Georgia’s foreign policy priorities and the diplomatic challenges facing the country in the short to medium term.
