The speaker will discuss global power shifts and their implications for Japan. He will examine recent strategic developments in Europe, the Middle East and Asia, outlining the Japanese perspective. With regard to the East and South China Seas, he will discuss the Abe administration’s commitment to peace and stability in the region, emphasizing possibilities for Anglo-Japanese security cooperation.
